Its crazy looking back at this past year. I started off being the happiest I have ever been and then I continually got knocked down from that point on. I watched as the people I cared about the most walked out of my life. I lost the most wonderful woman, my grandmother, a few days ago to a disease called ALS. My grandfather was recently diagnosed with lung cancer and Im filled with worry from that. Ive gone down the wrong road for quite some time now and I came to the realization that pain can change a person. A lot. But to end on a positive note, Ive become a lot closer with my best friend and Ive made several lifelong friends this year. Ive finally taken the time to do what I want to do such as learning to play the piano and traveling. My grades this semester have improved significantly and Im about to start a new job in 2015 that I am beyond excited for. This year I learned to become 100% independent and not to allow my happiness to depend upon other people. Im looking forward to making memories with my best friends, moving to a new place this summer, and starting my Big Year(birding competition). Heres to 2015! :D I hope everyone has a great year.
