Its crazy that Im hearing so many of our youth downplay this man like he wasnt a great rapper or he wasnt a great artist. smh jus more evidence of how lost we are. He was the definition of an ARTIST. He was 20 years old here.. Wht was ur mentality at 20? N wtf is the mentality of most 20 yr olds today? Its crazy that this from from like 91 or so n it feels like hes speaking today.. thats wht u call #timeless Yea whn he got shot he snapped tf out n got away from his essence, but he was 22! 22? lol.. yea, 22... this brother was our Malcolm X... he was 25 when he died and look at the impact that he made.. He never got a chance to lead the revolution. Remember, he was a black panther. Music is the voice of the ppl.. I hear ppl say, its not that serious... times change. we jus want sumthin we can dance too. As if music wasnt used as a source of hope n secret communication amongst slaves attempting to escape towards freedom.. As if music wasnt the soundtrack of the ppl during the civil rights movement, or a outlet for the pain during ReaganNomics or the crack epidemic.. So I say music is that serious.. N I ask: Wht does r music of today say about us? #legendary #revolutionary
