Its dangerous to help people. Last week, I went to see my friend Raj, I have known this man for over 20 years. He is one of the few people, if I ask him to do something for me and I would pay him at a later date.... He would not hesitate! There are lots of trusts between us... So, when I was there, we had a little chat - he asked me about my projects in Uganda and how it was doing. I told him that everything had collapsed and that the feedback, I got was that, I force people to do things.... (Raj is aware that over the last 10 years, I have put money into lots of projects, shops, community initiatives, kids, parents etc.) Raj could not stop laughing, he laughed and laughed... Raj owns a small shop and opens seven days a week, he is physically there everyday. He hardly has time off, he works from 4.30am till 9pm everyday, seven days a week. Here, I have for the last 25 years been helping people, who do not appreciate the hard work that I have put into helping them...... My New Year Resolution is sorted out in November.
