Its dark. Its the end of a day. Our world is in turbulence. We lost a sweet, funny guy who made a lot of us laugh. How do we rest in such a messy world? Psalm 46:10 says, Be still, and know that I am God! I will be honored in every nation. I will be honored through the world. Being still doesnt come natural for me, does it you? But if Hes asking me to rest in His strength, find comfort in His embrace, and find peace in the fact that Hes bigger than my fears, than being still is where youll find me. Lord, tonight, I pray for my friend reading this. Still her heart. Still her troubled thoughts. As she rests in You, let Your strength rise up in her bones. In the name of our amazing Savior, amen.
