Its day 5 for me of of the 21 Day Fix; second round. A little background on me: Im an obsessive runner and have been since 2001. I love running. I love how I feel afterwards and how long I can run without needing to stop or take breaks. Makes me feel good. When you are a runner, you feel like someone who can do anything :) But the downfall is, after your body gets used to it, you have to keep running more and more to ever see changes with your body. And you also become prone to getting injuries. You wear your body down. And the more you run, the less you want to do any other type of workouts. Im taking a break from my treadmill because I finally got tired of eating like crap just because I ran so much that I felt I had extra calories to consume. Its easy to let yourself get that way. Workout 2 plus hours a day, eat what you want, right? WRONG!! Im doing my second round of the 21 Day Fix because they are targeted 30 minute workouts each day with a strong focus on nutrition, which, on my own, I suck at. And after 4 full days, I see more ab definition and a pound of retained water is gone. Youll hold onto more water with the more sodium you consume. My body is getting rid of that :) This program works and I love it!! Ill always love running but sometimes you need to take a step back and try something different to get different results ;) #21dayfix #healthy
