Its day three of the gratitude challenge. The theme is experiences. 1. I am grateful I had the opportunity to attend summer sleep away camp as a child. I made some great friends and memories. (Remembering when Leo was in the icu the doctors were amazed at the number visitors we had...a lot of camp friends) 2. I was very involved in bbyo growing up and I had so much fun with friends across state lines. Those friendships are still cherished and thanks to Facebook for reuniting me with so many of those friends. 3. One of the most life altering adventures I am grateful for is my semester abroad. It was filled with culture and eye opening experiences beyond measure. For all of these opportunities I need to thank my parents. They made it a priority to be able to provide those amazing adventures to me and my sister.
