Its early times in the morning like these when you realise a football is just a metaphor for how women were treated in the early 1900s. They had no say and were looked upon as just to be used they had a massive lack of rights. They were used and abused just for the pleasure of men, I feel that a football (stereotypically) is doing the same, being used, kicked around, thrown about all for the pleasure of men. However looking at it in present day, football (as a sport) can also represent the portrayal of women in the media. This could be that its made to look all nice but dont look at its flaws in a great deal, this is the same with women. Theyre photoshopped to look all beautiful, slim, and greeting the beauty ideal all (again sorry for the stereotype) mainly for the pleasure of men. Anyways I should really try and go to sleep, night.
