Its easy to find bad statistics on the web, but one caught my eye, saying Hispanics accounted for 14% of the U.S. population and 4% of the voters. It seemed out of whack, portending a demographic wave as Hispanic youths reach voting age. Those numbers apparently were off (an undercount in both), but the basic message -- that a real big chunk (about half) are too young to vote -- is true. The electoral landscape should be dramatically different in 20 years.
