Its extremely sad what happened to Mike Brown and my condolences go out to his entire family... But people..... I agree the outcome was tragic and justice should have been served No man DESPITE HIS RACE.... Should be laid to rest in the manner Mike Brown was HOWEVER people answer this question... Decades ago we lost hundreds of our own in an activist movement towards racial equality and lost some of our most prestigious leaders who did what we are doing today so we dont have to. We said why cant we vote and the day came that we did.. We said why cant we be equally served and we are now, we said why cant our President be of African American decent and he is now two terms in, and we rejoiced, we have now had several unfair and unjust events resulting in the death of a human beings who happened to be black... I feel your pain and I can understand your resentment... But might I ask why we dont do these same acts for justice to stop ourselves from killing each other... Why do we contradict ourselves? Yes this world does some dumb things for some dumb reasons but y cant we honor the lives of our activist who really matched the streets not a couple of blocks or this bitten by dogs spit on and hosed down in front of their children and let our accomplishments, how we raise our kids, and our respect for our own race be our protest ... Look at the situation and ask are we doing ourselves any good or helping further our races progress? Or are we setting our selves back digging up a grave our ancestors gave their lives to bury so we can walk a straight line... Are we ever satisfied or do we enjoy being stereotyped?
