As political fantasy football czar, I wont be extending invitations to nexts year political fantasy football league to Texas State Representatives who FAIL to vote for Scott Turner for the next Speaker of the House over the current incumbent. I encourage Texans to find out know who their state rep plans to vote for and hold them accountable and not back down. Our current speaker needs to be BENCHED and voters need to put their state reps in the hot seat now before their legislator gets sucked into Austins money and power grab cycle in just over a month. For those needing a crash course in Texas politics, Texas Speaker of the House ranks only next to Lt. Governor in terms of legislative power, with the actual Governors office pretty distant towards the rear of the lead pack. GOP leaders need stop dumping Gatorade coolers on each other and realize that one of the most significant political battles in Texas actually takes place away from the mainstream media. Scott, a retired NFL great, was a play maker on the field and hell be a game changer in Austin. Jane Arnett, you and the other Gridiron Greats families would be proud that Scott is bigger playmaker off the field, and will be able be a positive impact on families all across Texas. A business and community leader, he is also a guest pastor at his local church. It is ironic that the first Black Speaker of the House candidate in Texas is Republican, and only the second in the US since Reconstruction (the first also a Republican in Oklahoma), yet it will be the democrats that will organize to block his bid. Just will just be another story you wont find on MSNBC. So let it be noted that Im signing the executive order as Political Fantasy Football Czar banning Joe Strauss supporting Texas State Reps from next years league.
