Its fascinating when you run into people that you havent seen in a while... And this seems to be an epidemic Ive been coming across over the last few months. Not only that... But also touching base with those you havent spoken with in a while. Case in point... I ran into someone that a bunch of you on here know...especially those that grew up in the same area as me. It turns out hes the store manager of a supermarket. Along with that... I was speaking to a friend of his who I used to live next door to and was also friends with (and many of you know him too). Its funny because the last time I saw him was back in 1992...when I went to visit him in the house I grew up in that he bought. And when speaking with him on the phone, it seemed like it was yesterday the last time we spoke. Another person that lived a block away from where I grew up...and I know hell be reading this...I went to visit three years ago. And it seemed like yesterday the last time I saw him...yet it was 26 yrs later. And I could go on and on. Why am I bringing this up? Because were connected to the people we meet and have known throughout our lives. And of course that connection will be stronger with some than others, but youre still connected with them in some way. So the next time you come across someone you havent seen in a while be aware of this... And really feel how much you are connected along with how much that person has contributed to your life.
