Its #feistyfebruary - a month dedicated to improving awareness, early detection and treatment of pancreatic cancer. I lost my mum to this cancer in 2002. All cancer is a bastard (as mum would say) but pancreatic cancer is particularly horrible because its very hard to detect in the early stages and, by the time its found, its often too late. You may be more aware of the disease thanks to the recent Coronation Street storyline.
