Its funny. Im the daughter who doesnt drink, doesnt smoke, doesnt do any type of drug, doesnt party, and has no record with police. I never put myself in a dangerous situation and I never get into any trouble yet I always do what I feel is right. Youd think a parent would be proud of that right? Tonight I got a call from a friend at 1:00am, she was at a party and she had drinks in her. Some people who were there were trying to take advantage of her and she got scared. She couldnt drive so she called her parents to see if they could pick her up. She got no answer so she tried to stick it out for the night but then when a boy shoves her down and tried to rip her clothes off and she had to fight him off, run to a room and lock herself in it shes terrified. I was her last resort so she called me begging if I could pick her up and bring her home. I thought about sneaking out of the house but I thought that was a terrible idea, so I woke my mom up and told her where I was going. The party was only about 6 miles away from my house so it wouldnt take me long at all to get there. My mom freaked out and me and began to yell. We argued for a while about it, her blaming my friend for even going and how She shouldnt have went, she should have known which made me mad. In the end of the argument I told her I was going, I didnt care because I thought I was doing the right thing. My mom is furious at me, even though I picked her up and dropped her off in a matter of 30 minutes. But I think I did what was the right thing to do, what if I didnt pick her up and something did happen? And shouldnt my mom be proud of me for saving someone in the situation instead of me being in that situation? I thought my mom was going to be proud of me, yet it the complete opposite and that makes me so mad because how could she just expect me not to care and sit around?
