Its funny. When you find yourself suddenly - or not so suddenly - in a life transition moment - when circumstances spiral out of control - a person tends to get angry. Angry. Pointing fingers. But at who? Who? Perhaps the word is resentful. Yes, there are people involved that could have, may have, made things more difficult - or less difficult. Resentful. They also couldve... shouldve... made it less difficult for me, in our point of view. But really? Who is to blame? Now, the meaning of resentful becomes clear. Avoidance of the issue. We each have our own lives, our own ambitions, and dreams. We each come from our own backgrounds, our own personal trials and circumstances from which we form the foundation of our view of the world around us. Are we correct? Are we right? HA!! Thats a truly funny question! We only have choices, and those choices are what define us - not the circumstances. We can choose to learn. We can choose not to learn. These are our only options. Either way, the only way is forward.
