Its funny how it does take a certain discipline, or focus, for one - TopicsExpress

Its funny how it does take a certain discipline, or focus, for one to allow a good thing to happen. Theres something to the human psyche that will have one working towards some supposedly far-off treasure, then, the funny thing: a certain fear arises at harvest time, and the prize often goes ungrasped by clammy hands. Ive observed this in many cases during my life, in history, and especially in the world of the past few years. In-built sabotage; past trauma, maybe? Perhaps it stems from guilt constructs, or definitions of self-worth(not feeling oneself to be good enough for ones own reward that one WORKED FOR), or a fear of the far-off treasure turning out to be a mirage--all speaking of past trauma, for which mercy is due. However, all things of worth in this life are just on the other side of that void. Its useful to have mercy on oneself for a moment and allow oneself to think(indeed, remember) that whatever is on the other side of fear is precisely the source of ones own momentum and capacity to flourish here, now. Some thoughts! The Æon rolls on! A timely repeat from RDJ:
