Its funny how one raok starts a chain reaction. Kelly G Harry gave us a turkey, so we thawed it and fiancé was in no rush to thaw it as can be understood with him working 6 days a week cooking as it is. But once I mentioned to him on Sunday that someone was depending on us giving him turkey sandwiches on Monday he did say how he was exhausted which I understood and decided to try to cook it myself to let him sleep. But I awoke to the turkey already cooked and him boiling down the drippings for a turkey stock. I had to go run an errand via bus which took a few hours but when I got home was late afternoon and I mentioned that we should get on with making the sandwiches for the man he got right on peeling and cooking potatoes, made stuffing and made gravy out of the stock he had simmering all day long. When it was all ready he let me plate it up for the man we were bringing a plate to. We packed on the turkey as well as giving him more turkey for a sandwich for another day and a turkey leg. And came with us (our girls and I) to deliver. Kyle Roberts is a wonderful man with a big heart which he refuses to acknowledge but he did a huge raok as did our daughter Kyla by making bannock by putting in the extra effort to make one persons thanksgiving
