Its funny how our passport becomes a reason for taking sides. So if my country decides (or, lets face it, some power hungry blokes who were brought up to believe they had an innate right to rule the rest of us) to start shooting at some people from another country, and they decide to shoot back, and before you know it, theres a general escalation of carnage then, rather arbitrarily because I have the word Britain on my passport, Im on our side and should support our brave boys with guns. Guess what. I dont want anything to do with it. From either side. Id rather not get involved, you know, because its (whatever sad and silly reason it is) nothing to do with me (other than I was randomly chosen to be British). I dont give a shit. Id rather not belong to a country, if thats the deal. Id rather be passport-free. Can I not just be a human, without some arbitrary allocation of nationality? Apparently not. :)
