Its funny how people mistake this country for a republic. What they dont realize is that the type of government is based on the administration that runs it. When a republican is in office, we are a republic, but when a democrat is in office, we have a democracy. They are quite similar, but different nonetheless. Freedom between the government styles is still emphisized, but what freedom means for both are quite polarized. This is why republicans hate dems in office and vise-versa. They are different governments. and many many forget that our government is quite flexible. Republicans, you have to wait your turn. If the people decide to vote you back in, that is their choice, but for now the majority wants Obama, and I see Clinton coming in 2016. Youre taking the back seat for now. Deal with it.
