Its funny how things happen. This weekend I had a really great weekend when I sold out of pretty much all my books at Tucson Comic Con. Come home, deposit the money and wham! It literally gets stolen wiping out both of my bank accounts. (They got two of my card numbers) Ive been dealing with this all week and Ive learned a few things. 1. Chase sucks. 2. PayPal doesnt. Not only did Chase take the term being an asshole to a new level, but they lost my business permanently. PayPal stepped in and is working with me to not only resolve their issues but is going out of their way to help out with Chase. So while one place lost my business another one has gained a very loyal customer. 3. I have some pretty awesome friends who have offered everything from money to helping me write letters and even make phone calls. WOW - this brought me to tears on all its own. 4. While I had all these awesome offers for help it was even better to know that I didnt need it. Im still okay. But learning that I have such amazing friends is seriously humbling. 5. And even in the midst of all this my marketing book soft launched today! So, if you pre-ordered it you should be getting it soon (before it hits the marketplace on the 29th) So... as the saying goes, every cloud has a silver lining. Everything will be okay in the end, if its not okay - its not the end. And now... Im going to go celebrate with my husband and son at the schools fall festival and forget all my non relevant problems.
