Its funny how when we hit a difficult patch in areas in life the first thing we want to do is run or question whether this particular area is of God. I hit a rough patch this weekend. Because I was surrounded by people, I had to find a quiet space and literally cry out to God. I was certain when I asked, God, am I in the wrong place, is this what you have for me, that he was going to tell me to depart. LOL, not so much. The response was short and sweet, I will equip you. What? Equip me? But I want out! Heres the thing, in this life we werent promised comfort. Sometimes the greatest life lessons are birthed through discomfort and pain, and when you move too prematurely, it not only robs you from seeing valuable lessons, but hinders God from using you to minister the lesson to others who may relate to a similar struggle. So the next time you are over it, done, cant take it anymore, think about the consequences of a premature, unprayed about move. Are you perhaps supposed to stay and trust God to guide you and equip you during the challenge or are you truly supposed to go? Only you know that answer. Choose wisely.
