Its funny how you sometimes only appreciate good things after they happen. The secondary school I went to in north London has produced a lot of talented and succesful people. Ive recently found out what some of my old school friends are doing. My old school friend Sam Wolfson is now a chief editor at Vice and also an editor at The Gaurdian. My former band mate David Tims put together a music project in South Africa for under priviliged school children all by himself. My former band mates Louis Greenwood and Lawrence Gale-Hayes have formed the Deep House/UK Bass group Wayward, and have been played on Radio 1 and are gaining support. There are others doing well working in the music industry and other creative industries, so many I cant even begin to name or remember. So I just want to say thank you to all the teachers and staff at Highgate Wood School for inspiring us and giving us the oppertunity and platform to do something we love. We owe you all big time!
