Its funny sometimes how the spirit works. I woke up this morning with a friend of mine on my mind. I then remembered that it was his birthday today. My dear friend Ernest had passed away about two years ago, and that brought me great sadness. His late brother Charlie composed the score for the broadway play The Wiz in the 1970s. Charlie had met an untimely death in 1987. Ernest would always tell me how close he was to his brother and mother and he couldnt wait to see them again. So Im so happy Ernest is finally home and I hope he is enjoying heaven with this mother and brother.
