Its funny that when I was 24 years old I started buying beach front property on a resort in Florida that didnt welcome my initial investment. They fought my purchase hard, they stated that I was too young to buy on a luxury beach front resort! I fought and ended up buying the property, the more they fought the more I pursued the property! That was 2011, now I own several properties on the resort and I get calls from other owners who say they are calling to say hi. Im like you didnt even want me as an investor on the resort, now you want to say hi. This has taught me that people may see you one way initially, but when you prove to people that you are good at what you do...they want to be apart of it. Its just sad that others dont have to prove themselves, why did I have to? Im like now you want to play golf, and talk to me about the stocks in your portfolio.
