Its funny what I remember most about my pregnancy with you. My doctor assured me that I was growing a strong baby as I hovered over porcelain for three months, and IVs replenished me with fluids. When you came into this world, you screamed with such conviction and purpose, assuring me that the doctor was right. You spent the first eight hours of life in your Daddys arms, while I recovered. (Im still trying to unwrap you from his finger.) Five years later, you continue to challenge me in ways I never thought possible. But if it werent for your miraculous birth and every rich experience along the way, I wouldnt have been afforded the most wonderful five years of mine. Your zest for life is electrifying, and your gregarious spirit is contagious. You are stubborn but determined, absolutely hilarious and witty, kind-hearted and loving, and destined for big things (possibly in Hollywood). Happiest 5th birthday to our strong baby girl. Keep on shining so bright...
