Its funny when I let myself be in silence, how my mind wanders and I try to get my head around all that is going on in the world. I wrote a song recently called The World Is On Fire and its about the chaos that exists all across the globe. And that made me think about John and Kathy Faircloth ...... And how the entire core of their world has been shaken in a moment with the tragic accident involving their. I remember back a few years when my daughter Kristen was in a roll over car crash. She was fortunately not seriously injured.... but I dropped everything to spend a week in the hospital with her. The Faircloth family is facing a mountain that most of us could not fathom. And it is a mountain that is so multifaceted I dont think most people can wrap their head around all the different things that are rolling through the parents minds...... Their life has changed forever in a flash and more than anything, they need your help, prayers, and support just to function on a daily basis. I guess what I am thinking, is we all need to figure out what we can do, and do it. Pay it forward. Give someone a hand. Buy someone a bag of groceries, cut an elderly persons grass, smile at someone when you hold the door for them and then say Happy Holidays. And there may not be much you can do to directly to help the Faircloth family right now, God knows there will be a time for that. But share some goodwill, make someone smile, and change someones life if you can or maybe for just a day if thats all you can do. #PayItForward #MakeADifference #ItsNotWhatYouSayItsWhatYouDo #ShareALittleLight
