Its funny when an automotive publication does a road trip and visits a some non-digitally focussed dealerships and paints them as leaders for their video. More and more, facts are not facts.Maybe visits dealerships who spend over 50% of their entire marketing budget on digital. Best practices arent best practices when the actions dont meet the rhetoric. And journalists continue to give them print and airtime because...well, we dont know why they do. This news portal could have visited really digitally-versed dealers, however there is likely an agenda. And their last stop will be at a dealership that is definitely digital, and has investments in some vendors as well. Yes folks, the news is less newsworthy that before. Dollars dictate coverage, the same ways that vendors without merit continue to win contracts from OEMs and dealership groups. Oh well, back to your (biased) regular programming... #dealershiptoday
