Its getting late, Theresa and I finished spit shining the foyer, downstairs bathroom, and the living room. After a couple extremely busy days these old achy bones are tired. Tomorrow is going to be a day of rest. Will probably make turkey, cheese tortellini for dinner. On a sad note, the firemen that fell through the roof working a fire has passed away. Two police officers from New York and a young lady from Baltimore have been slain in a useless act of violence. Thoughts and prayers go out to all of these families. Christmas is only 5 days away and is suppose to be a joyous time of the year, but each day we draw closer, the violence, the unnecessary deaths, and the heartaches get worse. Everyone points fingers at others, comments are vicious, judgements unfounded. I would like to remind everyone that the bible says that we do not pass judgement on others, yet we are so quick to judge. Maybe for the new year we can all try to promote love, faith, and hope for peace which is what the holiday season is all about. Tomorrow is the first day of winter, hope Mother Nature remains in a half way decent mood. Well now the norm, dont forget those few words to the man upstairs, ask what can we do for him. If nothing, ask him to help us remember the less fortunate, our veterans, our military, their families, and to keep us safe as we sleep with Angels. Good night.
