Its going to be a long night for our local birds here in Southern Maine. And, with a cool, often wet day today, and another cold, damp one tomorrow, many species will appreciate a helping hand. Make sure hummingbird feeders are cleaned and well-stocked, oranges and jelly are in place for orioles and catbirds, and insect suet and mealworms are supplied. And keep an eye on those feeders! Its a good time for odd things to show up.
