Its good to be open to change your opinion about things and people. I was never a great fan of tele-evangelists, celebrities preachers, mega-churches and things akin. Up today the only tele-evangelist had my utmost respect was Billy Graham. But my client, Mr. Jones, loves to watch Joel Osteen, the much famed televangelist. And, while I was doing my chores around my client, it I had to hear his message, which usually I consider very shallow theologically, too much infused with affirmative faith, and people-pleasing. But today, I came to change my opinion about him, when I heard his message about Unconditional Love. Among other things, he said: I am not here to judge you, I am here to love you. I could endorse 90% of his message today. But the most important it showed me that he has his mind open to people and their beliefs, not necessarily to accept their beliefs, but to respect them and love them as they are. He is a Christian and he preaches Christ, as he should. But the important thing is he is not judging people or the other religions. Hearing him today, I could have a glimpse that Christianity may become in the future an open religion, preaching Christ, but willing to consider other faiths. I dont know how is going to happen or when is going to happen but I firmly believe that in the future, still distant from us, humanity will, in its majority, confess just one religion, centered on faith in the Universal Father. And, believe or not, this wont be a work of the Antichrist, as the pre-milenarists preach.
