Its great to laugh and see his skill. He is a drag queen not a trans woman. Not all drag performance artists are clowns, some are incredibly moving, creative, and even intentionally very disturbing. Ive seen many drag queens perform at the Trannyshack in San Francisco when they first opened. I observed that part of their sacred function as performance artists and/or satire clowns is to provide comic relief in the dualistic and polarized world many live in, especially in regards to gender. Some people do yoga to make these energies whole in themselves but many actually do the opposite while self righteously proclaiming enlightenment as they create abusive polarized wars against the masculine and feminine in so many ways instead of embracing what is actually a very diverse human family. Healing that, or making whole (especially internalized homophobia), doesnt happen overnight and humor can open the heart but if not done correctly it can hurt violently, creating useless tribal warfare in the name of fear, delusion, & hate. Im not laughing at my trans woman friend that has survived becoming a full human being in peace when I watch this video. I am laughing at a very skilled drag queen performance artist thats helping people get over their gender variance phobias. Thats not supposed to give permission for someone to laugh at or not take seriously a trans person. Its supposed to get people to lighten up and create a safe world to creatively explore, transmute, and transcend suffering via the arts and storytelling. This artist is very strong with his body and mind. In his strength, I hope hed both protect the innocent and weak (including the oppressed or de-humanized) rather than perpetuate violence, fear, ignorance, delusion, and misunderstandings. After all, he has an adorable smily face over his root chakra, a center in the body many fear, shame, maim, make disgusting, oppress, repress, or worse. Gymnastics and ballet are often very gender and Heaven/Earth polarized instead of embracing gender variance as a sacred part of the human family, heaven in earth and earth in heaven. That said, humanity definitely needs waaaaaaay more honored, respected, fully expressed, intelligent, and talented trans people recognized in media, arts, science, and religion like Lana Wachowski, one of the creators of the films The Matrix Trilogy and Cloud Atlas. I recommend the film Two Spirits twospirits.org/ and learning from our ancestors whom regarded the balance of gender as a sacred role. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/We%27wha
