Its hard for me to believe that Mimi and Pop-Pop are gone. That yellow house on Concordia, the shaggy carpet and the abundance of static electricity. Their voices; each so unique and forever recorded in my memory. The extreme hospitality and unconditional love that convinced me every time I visited that I was THE most special person on Earth. The love they shared for each other and all of us is the inspiration for me to be the very best father to my children and husband to my bride Hannah Shelp. The only person Pop loved more than Mimi was Jesus. We should all take this fact seriously and nurture our personal relationships with Jesus so we too can be saved and live forever in paradise, Mimi and Pop-Pop are waiting patiently! If you thought their level of love was exceeding and abundant in this life just wait and see what what God can do now that they are with Him! Pray hard and prepare to be amazed loved ones, Mimi and Pop-Pop are together in heaven in the presence of the Lord and looking out for YOU!
