Its hard to believe that my sweet lil Emma has been gone to heaven a lil over a week now...........even though it seems like forever. Our days are long, and feel so empty and numb. Our entire life was centered around Emma. As I look back on my life I have several regrets with relationships and events but I have absolutely no regrets with Emma. We lived life with Emma to the fullest and we found the joys even on the toughest days. I know God has a perfect plan for each of us long before we are created. I know without a doubt what Emmas purpose was on this Earth. It gives me comfort in hearing so many of you reach out sharing ways that Emma has impacted your lives. I know she definitely changed my life in huge ways. I always had that FAITH that Emma would win her Earthly batttle against that cancer monster.........That same FAITH will help us learn how to live again. We are struggling right now but we will find the right path that God has for our lives. I plan to always keep Emmas light shining bright. A special thank you to all that have sent donations to the brain tumor research at Childrens Hospital in memory of Emma. Im praying for a cure! We will be planning Emmas 5K very soon. I plan to start a scholarship fund in memory of my lil Princess Emma and to help other families that are traveling this same journey. We have been very blessed and I will never be able to express just how thankful we truly are for all of your love and support that you all have shared the past 27 months. Please keep praying for our family and especially my Kbug for strength to face each new day. Emma will always live in our hearts! Cancer took away so much but it cant take away all of the special memories that we have with Emma. Thank you for all of the uplifting messages that so many of you continue to send. I havent been able to respond to all of them but I have been reading each one and they help so much. Im truly thankful for the special friends that I have too. My friends have been amazing. In the tough times you find out who your true friends are. I hope to be a better friend in the future. A special thanks for all the meals that have continued this week too. Its a true blessing. Continuing to give God all the glory! Keeping our FAITH bigger than our fears. Big hugs and love!
