Its hard to believe that this time last year we were waiting for Alex to come out of cardiac surgery at Starship hospital. It was a bumpy road at the time and its definitely been a crazy year but Alex has been such an amazing warrior and taken everything in his stride with hardly any complaints. He has come an unbelievably long way since then and although he still has some ongoing issues with his breathing and sleeping, he is doing so so well now! Its strange looking back at the photos and seeing the journey we have all travelled together as a family, but somehow (Im not sure how) were still bouncing along and loving life. Happy 1 year Heartiversary Alex :-)
