Its hard to imagine we are approaching the end of our first year at Hospitality House-Community Shelter Utahs Place. We are so grateful to our local construction Industry for donating over $200,000 in labor and materials toward our renovation. We were blessed with the absolute best building committee and advisors. NCCA Director Barbara Bashall, contractor Keoni Allen (seen in this video), project consultant Scott Thurmond and GV City Council member Lisa Swarthout were instrumental in helping us work through issues with the state HCD (our grantor), obtain our use permit, and the many, many other tasks it took to complete this project. Their guidance and experience helped make Utahs Place possible. Architect Robert Wallis, contractor Bill Litchfield and numerous subcontractors gave generously of their time, talent, and experience and turned our building into a beautiful 5-star shelter. A big heartfelt thanks to all of you
