Its hump day. I was grumbling last night because the accident on 24 had shut down the interstate into the night. It made my commute terrible both ways.. Any way you went cars were jammed. But then last night, as i sat talking to my wife in the comfort and warmth of my home, i came to realize the magnitude of it. Two young men died who just shortly before had thriving lives with people who loved them. My petty little problem all of a sudden seemed just that, petty. Under my breath i said a little prayer for those men and for myself to be a better man. Life is a crap shoot and nothing is guaranteed. I make fun of my getting older but in my heart, I know I am blessed to get this far. Millions of people dont. I sat there thinking. Theres all kinds of philosophy about how to live life but i think they all boil down to one, Live Life as if every day would be your last and you will have no regrets. Amen
