Its important to teach your children how to be successful! Its important to expose them to things in life, even if those things fall outside of your regular budget once in a while, to inspire them to strive for more! I believe it is just as important, to teach them how to make something out of nothing. How to stretch a meal, and pinch a penny. How to look at a nearly empty fridge, or cupboard and make a meal. How to choose foods carefully, and wisely when times get tough. Im grateful to have had parents that gifted me these experiences, and its often bitter sweet when gifting them back to my children.
