Its interesting. Everyday I find myself perusing a popular news site. && everyday I see different people urging the Ferguson, and overall Black community, to remain calm if Darren Wilson is not indicted. I wish that I could agree with that statement. That we could remain calm and peaceful and enact change, but I fear that urging this generation to remain calm equates to them doing nothing. So who will be the leaders of today? Will your calm allow a young Black male to be executed in the streets, or will it be the fuel to the fire that is reform? Remain peaceful... but I urge you but do not be calm. Calm is too much like acceptance. Protests are being planned in a bunch of major cities including Dallas and DC. Be prepared to stand in solidarity with the Michael Brown family if Darren Wilson is not indicted.
