Its interesting that our fastest modes of travel generally prevent cell phone reception. Airplanes require airplane mode, and in the city the subways go underground. (And if youre into that kind of thing, driving severely hampers your ability to browse Facebook or Wikipedia.) but if youre willing to take a surface train or a bus, you can get all the internet you want. (I suppose theyre fixing the underground issues in some cities, and some airplanes allow wifi, which somehow doesnt interfere with navigation the way cellular technology does?)
