Its kind of sad what a little thing can do... Let me explain. This is the video of the set I sat in on at Fam Jam The Mousetrap. And thank you so much Richard Schiller for taking the video and editing and posting it. I remember it as being pretty magical, personally, not least because this is the first time in my entire life Ive sat in on anything this freeform. And D Roq (the trumpet player), Max (guitarist on the left,) Todd (bass player) and Amanda (the woman dancing down in front) all told me that I did a good job. I really had a glow after that bit. But Ive just noticed that a guy who is in silhouette says (at 2:33) the drummers boring. I know I am not as good as either Richard or Nate, the two guys who were up before me (and who could drum rings around me,) but I thought that overall I didnt do too bad. But Im glad I didnt hear this at the time. Still, I really enjoyed it! The reggae jam at 10:00-ish in, is called So-So Reggae.
