Its looking like the weather will soon start to clear up, but please dont take any chances during or after a storm. Heres a few tips to remember. Sharks attacks tend to occur in murky waters, especially after a storm. The heavy rainfall washes dead animals, trash, debris, silt, etc. into the ocean and the over active water stirs up sand. Ocean currents, wind and waves can be unpredictable and too strong for even the best swimmers. Use extra caution. During periods of heavy rain, streams and drains carry all sorts of pollution into the ocean including the pathogens leached by cesspools into ground water.
