Its my last night in Liberia and pondering as I pack how difficult a simple question like how was your trip will be for me to answer. You dont come to a place like Africa and not change. You dont do the humanitarian work weve done over the last 9 days not changed. You dont take food and supplies to an orphanage and have a boy ask Will you remember us when you go home? and not change. You dont take water filtration systems to villages whove never seen water that clean and now fewer babies will die there and not change. You dont cuddle up and share love with beautiful girls at a school where they are now safe from their parents selling them for prostitution and not change. I can hardly believe all that weve accomplished, all that Ive documented, all of our hearts bursting so wide open with love....Im so incredibly grateful for this trip and how much I love my life and the opportunities I say yes to. Liberia will ALWAYS be in my heart
