Its nearly 5 am in Rennes (France) and Im about to walk to the train station and try to use my paid ticket on an earlier train than my booking. Air France canceled my flight home-- theres a strike. I think theyre obligated to get my ass back to SFO, but since they obviously will be flooded with frantic people, I need all the head start I can get. Im somewhat hampered by not being a CEO, but even worse, I dont have my credit cards or ATM. A helpful genie relieved me of my money- pouch while I was holding my purse on my lap on the Zurich-bound train. My sweet friend Erika walked me to her Swiss ATM and pressed bunch of Euros in my hand. Dont worry. Ill get home, I promise.
