Its nice to compliment somebody. They seem to be very happy even if you dont mean it. In particular, saying something nice about ones looks works great. I dont know why but it does. Here are my two recent examples. I must warn you, they are cheesy but as with a good cheddar, they do wonders. 1. New receptionist at the fitness centre Hi, must be new here. Why do you ask sir? Someone with your looks is hard to go unnoticed. 2. Ticket collector at the cinema Heres my ticket for Nonstop. (static electricity as I hand her the ticket, with recent dry spell) Goodness me, your beauty sure does make things spark. On both occasions, they blushed but seemed to like it. Some of you might wonder why I only say nice things to women. I know its a crap excuse but it was the International Womens Day. 우리는 살면서 남들에게 칭찬하는데 인색하다. 사실 좋은 말 해주는건 돈이 들지도 않는다. 경험상 외모에 대해 칭찬해 주는게 가장 효과적인 것 같다. 왜 그런지는 모르지만 아무튼 그렇다. 최근 내가 칭찬한 두 사례를 소개해보도록 하겠다. 솔직히 좀 오글거리지만 참도록... 1. 헬스장에 새로 온 리셉셔니스트 여기서 일하신지 얼마 안되셨나봐요? 네. 그런데 왜 물어보시죠? 그 외모라면 눈에 안 띨 수 없겠다 싶어서요. 2. 극장에서 티켓 건네다가 18:45 시작하는 논스톱 입장해도 되나요? (건조해서인지 표 건네다가 정전기) 이런, 너무 미인이라 스파크가 절로 튀네요! 두 사례 모두 조금 수줍어 하는듯 하면서도 좋아하는 것 같았다. 여기서 몇몇 페친들은 왜 내가 여성들에게만 상냥하게 구냐 의문을 가질지 모르겠다. 뭐 좀 어이 없는 설명인것 같지만 몇일전 세계 여성의 날이 아니었던가.
