Its no secret that Ive been involved politically for quite some time. But watching our political situation become more and more perilous every day, I must now enter the public square as a candidate for public office. As you know, I do nothing half way. I am accepting the challenge of running a political campaign this election cycle. My opponent is formidable, but not unbeatable. He is well financed, and even though I have a strong bully pulpit through my videos and the internet, my campaign must be multi-faceted and thorough. In order to succeed I am going to need to be able to finance all the aspects of a political campaign, and with your help I can do just that. I am writing to you today to ask for your help and support, both emotionally, physically, and financially. I need to ‘seed’ my campaign with donations from my friends and family. I need your help. The reason I know that I can make a difference is that my concerns for the welfare of the citizens of these United States, North Carolina, and District 16 in Wake County (in particular) have reached the point where the representation that I have is unsatisfactory at best, and downright dangerous at worst. The issues that I care about most deeply, and should be no surprise to you, are: Privacy, Taxes, and Economic prosperity. There is a sea change in North Carolina. Under conservative leadership, this ship of state is rapidly making a comeback and change for the better is taking place. I know that with my assistance, we can bring North Carolina to the front of this conservative change that will improve the lives of all its citizens. For this campaign to be successful, it will require a strong and organized grassroots organization. Our campaign has begun this process and the various pieces are falling into place. I have hired an experienced political campaign manager; I have a campaign treasurer, and an events coordinator. With brochures to print, yard signs to order, and advertising to purchase, and doors to knock on, I cannot do it all alone. That’s why I’m turning to the people who know me best, and inviting them to get involved in my campaign and me make a difference.
