Its not always about tracking the Big 5 and playing spectacular - TopicsExpress

Its not always about tracking the Big 5 and playing spectacular golf courses... In June 2012 we were lucky enough to join the Pels Fishing Owl expedition in the far north of Kruger National Park. It was a privilege to see the view from the other side of the fence. We trekked with the scientists along the banks of a beautifully pristine river (location not to be divulged in order to protect the Pels Fishing Owl population), looking for evidence of habitats. We were protected from stumbling into any dangerous game encounters by the ever-watchful rangers of the Kruger National Park. We visited sites of long ago kingdoms and we were shaded by ancient baobab trees and glorious stands of pale green fever trees. What an adventure, I hope one day you see South Africa too.
