These rules are in place for a reason, the Patriots knew it, and they broke them. 11 out of the 12 balls the Pats used were deflated by TWO pounds or more. Bill Belichick is a repeat offender so just by that logic alone, he deserves a very stiff punishment, especially after the league came down so hard on Sean Payton for the Saints. I think he should be suspended for the Super Bowl. Any punishment after would not be justified because the incident happened NOW and if Belichick wins a ring, I dont think hell mind any punishment hes given after that. Patriots fans can think this is stupid all they want, but the fact is they mocked and laughed at these allegations when they came out just like Tom Brady and other Boston media did, and now they all have to be feeling stupid. This is now a problem for Brady as well because theres no way he did not know what was going on. That is the point I heard on sports radio and I think it is spot on.
