Its not goodbye... The Boss here... Michelle Chopp. what can I say. I remember standing in what was going to be ECB. It was ripped apart with the floor covered in dust and the ceiling falling down as it was just demoed out. In walks a woman to talk to me about working at ECB with her friend Michelle Chopp. (I will leave this woman nameless but she can post if she wishes as we LOVE her to death!) Its too long of a story but I will just tell you that in the end I went to the Y to observe Michelle teaching a class. They were doing some mitt training and I kept thinking, man, these women suck on the mitts! :-) Well, thats not really true but it makes for a better story. I was very impressed with Michelle and asked her to be a trainer at ECB. She said yes and the rest is history. I could brag about how great she is but those of you that have taken her classes already know that. I could write about how crazy she is but... that would just be plain crazy! I could write about her socks (thats right, her socks for those that dont know her) her CRAZY socks that have become the norm at ECB, but you have come to love her for her socks. Or how about saying something about her music mix? All I can say is that I cant get that damn Kung Fu Fighting out of me head to this day! The bottom line is Angie and I love Michelle and we know that life changes. We hate to see her go but we know that shes really not going, shes just changing up her schedule a bit. We are hopeful that we will still see her around smashing bags and stepping in to sub from time to time. So, if you are around Friday (the 16th) her last classes are at 5:00 and 6:15 am and then at Noon. We will not be at the early classes but will be there at Noon. Angie and I encourage everyone to either take one of her remaining classes or at least stop by to give her the thanks she deserves. She truly does care about each and every ECB member and for that Angie and are very grateful. Thanks Michelle. Youve helped us lay the foundation of ECB and Angie and I will never forget that.
