Its not just halal meat we have to look out for. We are being sold haram meat without our knowledge. This is meat that has been ritually slaughtered but deemed not good enough for Muslim consumption so it is being on sold to us. I find this even more insulting than selling us halal meat without our knowledge. So dont just ask if the meat you intend to buy is halal because if its not good enough its not considered halal anymore.
