Its not perfect, but it is progress. Every time we enter the gym we are given the chance to learn & grow from our experiences. No fewer than 6 months ago, I injured my lower back trying to pull 3 x 140kg amongst greats such as @biolayne & @thenattypro. Sumo deadlifts have never been a staple of mine, however I should have taken more care with my form. I have nothing but admiration for those that can pull multiple times their body weight - its probably a little way off for me. Today I hit 5 x 160kg & felt strong doing so. As I said, its definitely not perfect & I did use a belt, but it is progress. Considering Ive been troubled with my lower back pain in the past, Im stoked Squats & deads in one week. Look at me go Very much looking forward to a new phase of training for me. Ive admired the work of the @australianstrengthcoach for some time now & am very much looking forward to having him take control of my training. What lifts are you trying to improve?
