Its not that long ago my kids were really little. Like, that age where they wake up SUPER early on a Saturday morning and you have no choice but to get up too. And deep inside (well, maybe not too deep...) you are wondering if you will ever be rested or get to ever sleep in on a Saturday again. I remember being hauled out of bed at 5am on a Saturday by my toddler(s) and getting them settled with a video while I snuggled with them and tried to just get a few more minutes of sleep on the sofa. After 3 kids, and about 7 years of this routine, I think I figured I would be exhausted forever....lol. But the good news is, things do not stay the same! They did eventually get old enough that they no longer had to get me out of bed. Yay! I could finally catch up on my sleep and I finally felt normal again :) Same thing goes with our bodies, as moms - they go through seasons. We have babies and everything we do gets wrapped up in that - which is good! But be gentle with yourself, because those times where it feels impossible wont last forever! There will come a season when it wont seem so impossible - but theres no reason to be regretful in the meantime. Enjoy THIS season. It doesnt mean neglecting yourself - but it can empower you to simply DO YOUR BEST. You have good reason to be happy with your best effort - and when the time comes, you will wont have to start from a place of defeat...you will already be half way there :) #TheGlowingLife #HappinessIsHealthiness #SimpleIsBetter
